Tideworks immersion days are the thing you do when you’ve tried everything and nothing works.

Or it’s the thing you do when you don’t want to mess around.

You are ready.

You are poised.

And you’re totally stuck.  Maybe it’s clutter, or maybe it’s career, or maybe  your sex life is mired in the mud.

Join me for a day.  Here’s what it looks like:

we begin at breakfast.  You join me at a local restaurant where we take our time, sip our orange juice, and talk things over.  We lay the groundwork here.

After breakfast we take a pause for digestion, go for a walk, clear our heads, and then go to the massage studio for our first bodywork of the day.

On the table, I’ll ask questions, we’ll talk, and I’ll work on your body at the same time.  Stuff that’s stuck in your body will come loose, and we’ll follow random trails and unexpected ideas and see where they go.  After about 90 minutes, maybe sooner, you’ll be ready for a break and so we’ll stop, take a little breather, and then go to lunch.

At lunch we’ll debrief, relax, and see what we want to do next.

Afternoon could be a trip to the ocean, sprinting on the sand at low tide, walking through town, hiking in the woods, snowshoeing (weather permitting), art time, or anything else.  We’ll work with unexpected and unlikely prompts and afterwards do more bodywork.  Probably.  Because every day is unique and every person is unique, every schedule is unique.  Late afternoon is more decompression time–an hour or two to yourself–and then we’ll have dinner.  After dinner, we’ll make notes and your roadmap.  And then we can have dessert.

Two weeks later we follow up by phone.

$1000, in Blue Hill or three times a year in Portland, Oregon

Included: two 30 minute pre-sessions by phone and one 60 minute followup. On the day of: breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, coaching, bodywork, transportation during the day, and a followup session two weeks afterward.  Not included: lodging, admissions fees (if any), transportation to and from my studio.
